Virginia Tech Cricket Club (VTCC)

Virginia Tech Cricket (VTCC), a registered non-profit organization, was established in the summer of 1996 at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA. This club was formed to provide an opportunity to cricket lovers to have fun playing, watching, and being a part of this game. The mission of the club is to continue doing this successfully in the seasons to come and to promote the great game of cricket in and around Blacksburg. VTCC is grateful to the Department of Recreational Sports for allowing the usage of their facilities for playing.

Virginia Tech Cricket Club Participates in two American College Cricket tournaments. A regional tournament takes place in the Fall semester, in which we compete against colleges from the Mid Atlantic Regions. In the Spring semester over thirty colleges, from around America and Canada, compete to win the National Tournament.

VTCC is part of the Mid-Atlantic Cricket Conference (MACC) which comprises of teams from all over Virginia. MACC season starts in March and concludes in late September. VTCC plays an average of twelve regular season matches, before the playoffs.
